Today on @WordPress we are announcing you're not allowed to link to... oh wait, it's your site. You can link to whatever you want. It's the web. That's how it works.
Learn CSS. Seriously you're going to love it.
If you're intimidated by it, @JoshWComeau has a great practical and friendly course to set you up: https://t.co/7b4J3MJGBZ

Truth bomb. The culture in most orgs is ableist. Accessibility is undervalued, underfunded and deprioritised. Specialists are disempowered, outnumbered and ignored. Middle-management would rather use their influence for exemptions than for culture change. Do better! Rant over.✌️
Microsoft researchers found white-collar workers are adding a 9pm shift to their workday.

- flexible work empowers night owls

White-collar work is bonanza of meetings.
In the first months of the pandemic, Microsoft saw online meetings soar as offices shut down.
In 2021, the number of online meetings just kept rising.
This year, meetings-per-person hit an all-time high—250% higher than Feb 2020.
Extremely distressing the frequency with which I have to switch out of Firefox to use some audio/video app that only works in Chrome, what was the point of setting fire to IE only to re-create the same problem?
People seem to be redefining Web 2.0 as Facebook, etc, that own data, but Web 2.0 at the time was platforms like WordPress, Odeo, Six Apart, Flickr, Technorati, and https://t.co/vlhR5g6fkg that had open data and interoperated. https://t.co/PXuZBaLbP2
@techgirl1908 I said "9 million is nothing", but one should never make claims without supporting evidence.
So lets see how things go with 2 *billion* rows in the table. How does a standard relational table go?
Spoiler Alert: Relational databases rock!
