@ryanelliott@billwolfe@sweatystartup Exact experience trying to scale a drywall franchise in Texas. Premium pricing ends up dropping to market most times to close jobs and razor-thin margins, if any. Labor that is actually skilled/ worth retaining demands a premium on top of it. Still Do-able, but very tough so far
@spittinchiclets flyers fan (die hard) this is exactly correct. Off-season training arguably one of the most important processes if not the most in a young career. Its not personal, you don’t hold up your end of the deal, than you don’t play. It’s not a charity. You can’t accept as an org
@FlyersHockeyHub game shape now but in my opinion it looks like he’s regressed, and it looks like it may be self inflicted. If he was as good as his hype, he needs to take the wheel it make it happen by standing out. I don’t think you can blame it on linemates and TOI
@FlyersHockeyHub If he didn’t put in the work to get stronger during the offseason, and it’s hard to keep weight on during the season, you can’t let that be the standard. He came in out of shape. Even 2 weeks off the ice is a long time for a player, let alone the entire off-season. He might be in
@Fujipredator@NHLFlyers Its preseason. The line combos give individuals a chance to stand out 5v5. You look at guys like Bump to see if he can hold his own against top line players at even strength. Every guy at this level has skill, Bump was good but he also was beat a few times physically off pucks.
