Starting over isn't the hard part.
The hard part is letting go of the identity you built around the thing that failed. The title. The vision. The version of yourself you told everyone about.
Most people don't fear starting over. They fear being seen starting over.
That's the real battle.
@StrongMarriage5 Most men put more strategy into their business than their marriage. Then wonder why one is thriving and the other is barely surviving.
@edgaralandough Get your finances in order. Absolutely.
Just don't be surprised when the anxiety doesn't fully leave. Some of it was never about the money.
The men who've built real wealth will tell you, the deeper questions don't get quieter when the account grows. They get louder.
Note that the most dangerous place to make financial decisions from is desperation.
Desperation narrows your vision to the immediate problem and blinds you to everything God has already placed around you.
Pray for clarity. Move with patience. The provision is rarely where the panic is pointing.
Most people spend their lives reacting to the present instead of building toward something that doesn't exist yet.
The difference between a businessman and a visionary isn't talent. It's the willingness to work for years on something only you can currently see.
Build anyway. The future belongs to whoever refused to wait for permission to create it.
Everyone celebrates the entrepreneur who sacrificed everything to build the business.
Nobody talks about the wife who raised the kids alone. The children who grew up with an absent father. The family that funded the dream nobody asked them about.
We called it hustle. They called it abandonment.
@matt_gray_ Good list. The missing ingredient is conviction.
Anyone can create 10 posts in an hour. The ones that actually build something are the ones where every post comes from a perspective nobody else has.
That's the real moat.
@thsottiaux The interesting question isn't whether ChatGPT stays relevant. It's whether OpenAI can hold the category name while the underlying technology gets commoditized by everyone else.
Google held search. Owning a category name with eroding moats is harder than it looks.
@OpenAI We went from "AI can write emails" to "AI can design drugs" in about 24 months.
Whatever you think the next 24 months looks like, you're probably still underestimating it.
AI built specifically for drug discovery is one of those developments that sounds like science fiction until you realize it's already here. The speed of specialization is what's wild.
We’re bringing new capabilities to GPT-Rosalind, a model series purpose-built for life sciences research at enterprise scale.
It brings GPT-5.5’s agentic coding and tool use together with stronger intelligence for drug discovery, analysis, design, and experimental workflows.

The difference between amateurs and professionals isn't talent or timing.
It's the decision to show up before you feel like it, after it stops feeling exciting, and through every season where nothing seems to be working.
Most people never make that decision consciously. They just keep waiting for motivation that was never coming.
@TrevorSheatz The warning is real. But so is the calling.
God doesn't ask us to despise the work He assigned us. He asks us to do it for an audience of One and hold the results with open hands.
That's the tension every serious Christian entrepreneur lives in daily.
The businesses that win won't be the ones that save money as AI gets cheaper.
They'll be the ones that reinvest the savings into doing things that weren't possible before.
That's always how efficiency paradoxes resolve.
Jevons Paradox: In 1865, better coal efficiency led to higher coal consumption. Now AI token prices drop 80% and enterprise spending jumps 6x. Same paradox, faster cycle.
Today pulled my attention toward letting someone else run with a piece I usually hold tight.
I caught myself hovering over the draft, fingers close to the keyboard, then leaning back instead and just watching the edits stack up without me.
It felt strange sitting on my hands while the cursor blinked and moved on its own.
