@CallofDuty Desperate move to farm milsim larpers interaction, just like the BF6 trailers. They'll play COD because of this option and then realize that the skins don't change how awful Warzone gameplay and aim assist are xdd

See Call of Duty: Warzone your way.
Starting with Season 1, a new Operator Skin toggle lets you display only MW4 Operators in game. Learn more: https://t.co/VwXF5mebTw
The Fruit Fly can play axle on controller
I trained all 166,700 neurons in the MaleCNS v1.0 fruit fly connectome to play Axle in Apex Legends, using YOLOv5 plus video pretraining.
With aim assist enabled, most of the neurons were unnecessary. #ApexLegends
@Battles82 I don't blame EA, larpers are the easiest to bait, just give them good graphics, edgy music, explosions, lines like "target down", "enemy contact" or something in the trailer and that's it, 100M copies pre ordered.
Battlefield Studios says there has been a "steady increase" in the number of user reports against LEGITIMATE PLAYERS in #Battlefield6, particularly highly skilled players and especially those who spend most of their time in vehicles.
They even found one account that reported virtually 'every player in every match' they played. The team claims reports help direct investigations, but they don't use them "alone" to sanction accounts.
What They're Changing
If a player is consistently reported over a long period yet never triggers other anti-cheat signals and repeatedly passes manual review, the Match Infection Rate (MIR) will recognize them for what they are: a skilled Battlefield veteran.
NOTE: This exclusion only applies as long as reports remain the sole indicator. If any other of our hundreds of anti-cheat detections and/or signals are triggered, that player immediately returns to the pool considered by MIR.
New In-Game "Nudges"
Battlefield Studios has also added new in-game notifications related to player moderation and anti-cheat enforcements. These notifications will only be raised:
▪️ During times when they would not interrupt gameplay, like the main menu or pre-game lobbies
▪️ During matches only when you are dead and waiting for the respawn timer.
The intention is to let you know when you are engaging in something that constitutes a more minor violation of our policies, providing "an opportunity to disengage from that behavior" before it warrants more significant warnings or sanctions.
They're still evaluating some examples for using these nudges:
Anti-Cheat
🔹 Purposely and consistently getting out of bounds to normally inaccessible portions of the map (under the map, behind walls, inside of game objects) as a means of getting an advantage over others regardless of method.
🔹 Matchmaking manipulations to engage in a prohibited behavior that undermines fairness, such as: stream sniping, collusion with other squads in ranked, harassment, etc.
🔹 Using game exploits beyond a reasonable level of “Fun” and “Chaos” that they can bring before we fix them.
Text and VOIP Moderation
🔹 Playing disruptive media over VOIP such as sirens, gunfire, footsteps, in an effort to negatively impact others ability to hear in-game indicators accurately.
🔹 An early warning when the content of a message would have resulted in a sanction in line with the EA's Positive Play Charter.
Just to give you an idea, I made these skins for BattleBit just before update 2.1.2. (29 Aug 2023)
Never touched 3D modeling before, just followed a YouTube tutorial. IMO BattleBit had it easy when it came to create endless amount of content for the game and was faster to make.
Its "Roblox" style help it to not stay locked into the larper realism, it got creative freedom for game modes like the zombie mode that never got the love it deserved.
All just to end up another generic milsim, larpers ruin everything man...
@Uniting_ps They could've moved away from Battlefield shitter audience, they had the graphics to allow creative ideas similar to TF2, they had a pristine movement system but no, the devs wanted to make their own Roblox recruitment simulator🥀
That guy claims to have hated Battlefield since Frostbite exists, meaning he's hated the game for 17 years.
- He expected DICE to reject EA's millions in 2005, just to preserve Battlefield's "milsim ideals."
- Let's say EA follows BF2's direction (by making the next title like Project Reality). PS3 and Xbox 360 only had 512MB of RAM. MAG existed, but its gameplay was nothing like BF2.
- Now let's be generous and say EA makes it work, 64 players + vehicles. It'd still have to compete with MW4 across all 3 PLATFORMS.
Once EA saw their main competitor outsell them, what would happen next?
- Killing Battlefield in 2011, or releasing a "Call of Duty" style game by 2013 anyway.
There's no logic in demanding something that should've been decided a decade ago. And back then, if everyone loved BF2 so much... how many of them played Project Reality? I doubt that number even reached 6% of the players BF3 achieved.
Today there are several alternatives with that concept (WARDOGS). No need to turn Battlefield into something it never was and never will be.
