By fining 49ers S Malik Mustapha for an illegal hit on Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba with 1:13 to play on Sunday, the NFL admits that the officials failed to call a personal foul that would have extended Seattle's final drive. https://t.co/dxQVzTkBmN
Seahawks had 353 offensive yards and 168 yards allowed against the Broncos.
Against the commanders they had 437 yards and 258 yards allowed.
The #Seahawks somehow lost both games.
Wow.
Rams fall to Buffalo in painful fashion, and are 2-3.
Very fortunate to not be 1-4.
Rams will be there in the end. Seahawks have work to do to be there.
The NFL has not suspended Jackson after an incident where he allegedly put hands on a pregnant woman. He was suspended in 2024 for violating the personal conduct policy for reportedly recorded a sexual encounter without the consent of the woman.
Now this.
Rams offense settling for a 48-yd FG attempt is a Sean McVay coaching problem
Rams special teams all game every game is a Bubba Ventrone coaching problem
Rams defense making no adjustments to Josh Allen running (121 rush yards) and letting Buffalo put up 37 points with Josh throwing only 19 passes is a Chris Shula coaching problem
Nothing like a ref who has zero angle of where the ball is marking the ball incorrectly on a 4th down game ending play.
Rough for Seahawks.
I think he got it, will be hard to overturn.
The 49ers had 3 scoring drives in the first half versus Seattle:
18 yards (touchdown after an INT)
11 yards (touchdown after a fumble)
0 yards (fumble recovered in end zone)
The Seahawks are practically giving this game away.
The ref who marked the spot here has zero angle of where the ball is.
The other replay showed he can’t even see where it is because of where is located relative to the player bodies.
Just marking it entirely off vibes.
The Seahawks didn’t just shoot them elves in the foot, they dipped their whole body in a volcano then blew themselves up and still could’ve won.
The only team they need to worry about is themselves.
What a game! I think they got that last call wrong. Ref assumed he stepped out but he didn’t and you can’t tell where the ball crossed the plane but it looked like a first down. Wish they would habe gotten that one right.

The Seahawks are the most stable, solid NFC franchise since 2012 and it's not close.
2 Super Bowl titles, 3 SB apps. 5 division titles. Just one double-digit loss season.
Rams? 1 title sure but also 2 12-loss seasons in last 10 yrs.
49ers? 0 titles since 1994.
Eagles have a decent case. 2 titles. But they have had 3 head coaches in the last 11 years. They lost 11 games in 2020. SEA hasn't lost more than 10 since 2009.
Packers? Seahawks have won 2 Super Bowls since the last time they even appeared in one.
