The flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, & the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh They are in conflict with each other, so the cross is resisting the flesh to follow the spirit

@David_Suldac @GregsonDarren Things of the spirit can only be tested by those in the spirit. Rom 8:14 Those led by the spirit of God are the sons of God. Cor 2:14:the "natural person" cant understand things of God cz the're spiritually discerned. Those with the Spirit can perceive these spiritual realities.
