Pre-ACA healthcare worked. It was reasonable and affordable. No one understood it and the politicos filled everyone with propaganda about how they imagined it worked. Go back to what we had Pre-ACA, and allow for interstate purchases. The only real gap was not every statehad high risk polls for people who pre-existing conditions that after 12m of continuous coverage, could get insurance without that restriction. The system worked.
