AVIA is proud to welcome our newest member @nvidia.
NVIDIA is at the forefront of autonomous vehicle development, providing the compute platforms, AI software, and safety systems that the world's leading AV and robotaxi programs are built on. As a member, NVIDIA joins the growing AV ecosystem represented by AVIA as we advocate for the safe deployment of autonomous vehicles across the country.
A big welcome to @wayve_ai! We are excited to have Wayve as part of the growing membership of @theavindustry that is focused on delivering the benefits of autonomous vehicles.
We are proud to welcome @wayve_ai as the newest member of the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association.
Wayve is a global leader in embodied intelligence, deploying their AI Driver through partnerships with automakers and fleets.
Today, I’m getting a firsthand look at how autonomous vehicles will help shape the future of transportation in Colorado.
Innovative technology like @Waymo are starting to show how safe, accessible autonomous transportation can benefit Coloradans.
Last week, @JeffFarrah joined a panel at @KPMG_US's 8th Automotive Innovation Summit to talk about #autonomousvehicle deployment across the country and the work AVIA is doing to ensure the American people can access this exciting technology.
Once again, Rep. @boblatta and @SecDuffy showing how American leadership in autonomous vehicles is possible. It is imperative that Congress pass the Self Drive Act to pair with strong action at @USDOT by Sec. Duffy, @NHTSAgov Administrator Morrison and @FMCSA Administrator Barrs.
@SecDuffy is absolutely right, Congress needs to set the rules and regulations to allow the safe deployment of Autonomous Vehicles and ensure the next generation of vehicles are made here in America. Congress should pass the #SELFDRIVEAct!
A new national survey of 8,000 adults conducted by Stack Data Strategy finds public confidence in autonomous vehicles rising quickly. Congress and the states should meet that momentum with policy that brings safer roads, greater independence, and stronger supply chains to every community.
In 35 congressional districts, more people say they are comfortable with autonomous vehicles than not.
We are proud to work with the @UnitedSpinal SecureRide Coalition to advance an independent securement standard that allows wheelchair users to safely secure themselves on their own, giving millions of Americans access to safe, reliable autonomous rides.
Excited to welcome Isuzu to the growing and thriving membership of the @theavindustry. Isuzu is working to advance autonomous trucks in the U.S. which will make our supply chains more resilient and roads safer. Welcome!
AVIA is proud to welcome our newest member @isuzutruckus. In the U.S., Isuzu partners with @Gatik_AI to build purpose-built autonomous trucks that are making autonomous daily deliveries on public roads.

AVIA has released the following statement regarding a new lawsuit filed by the California Teamsters against several state agencies over autonomous trucking policy that was adopted earlier this year.
In the newly released National Roadway Safety Strategy report, @USDOT cites AVIA's State of AV report highlighting the millions of autonomous miles our members have driven on public U.S. roads.
Before a single driverless vehicle carries a passenger or a package, AVIA members are already in the room with police officers, firefighters, and EMTs explaining how autonomous technology works and, most importantly, listening to what these professionals need to do their jobs safely.
AVIA CEO @JeffFarrah's new blog looks at the way our members are engaging directly with law enforcement and first responders as part of their deployment process.

New Op-Ed from me in @dcexaminer:
👍 The bipartisan BUILD America 250 Act includes strong autonomous truck provisions that will be a key pillar of a federal framework on AVs
💡 The "political center of gravity on autonomous trucking" has shifted in a positive direction
For anyone waiting for Washington to provide the regulatory clarity that autonomous trucking companies need to scale, the AV provisions in the bipartisan BUILD America 250 Act are a meaningful development. The federal policy framework being assembled reflects a bipartisan consensus that the United States cannot afford to fall behind on this technology, lest strategic competitors like China pass us by.

@SenToddYoung@SenGaryPeters .@SenToddYoung: I'm glad to hear of the recent waiver issued by the Department of Transportation to allow for cab-mounted warning beacons in certain instances."
@SenToddYoung .@SenGaryPeters: "We must pass a federal AV framework to harness the safety benefits of this technology, ensure that it is deployed responsibility, and cement U.S. leadership in the development, manufacturing, and deployment on our roads."
