Thank you to all who fought and sacrificed in freedoms defense all those years ago. Incredible footage here. Blessed that both my uncles survived and will never forget the over 400,000 who did not come home.
There is a lot going on right now on the @Space_Station, but fortunately we are all safe and witnessed a spectacular southern aurora show yesterday thanks to a recent solar event.
The Zvezda service module transfer tunnel, known as PrK, has suffered from cracks and leaks for some time, and has been mitigated by Roscosmos as much as possible to date. The cracks have always been a concern that NASA watches very closely. NASA and Roscosmos have been working to determine the root cause of the cracks, and Roscosmos manages the issue through operational mitigation measures and periodic partial-repair efforts. Following new leaks, Roscosmos has elected to proceed with a more extensive repair operation on Friday, June 5. Out of an abundance of caution, NASA has directed all four of the agency's SpaceX Crew-12 members and NASA astronaut Chris Williams to assume an elevated safety posture in the Dragon spacecraft while the repair is underway. We continue to work with our Russian counterparts, along with the rest of the international community that supports the space station, to arrive at a more permanent resolution.

#MeteorSighting: Eyewitnesses in New England and @NOAA’s GOES-19 satellite reported a bright fireball on Saturday, May 30, at 2:06 p.m EDT accompanied by a loud noise. The meteor appears to have fragmented at an altitude of 40 miles over northeast MA and southeast NH. The energy released at breakup is estimated to be equivalent to about 300 tons of TNT, which accounts for the loud noise.

Grumman F-14A Tomcat, BUNO 162601, Tail Code NF, Modex 112, US Navy, Atsugi (NJA / RJTA), Japan, July 1, 2000, Photo by Toshiro Hara
This totally bodacious F-14A Tomcat (BUNO 162601) sits on the ramp at NAF Atsugi on July 1, 2000 wearing classic NF-112 markings. Another beautiful late-era Tomcat captured right here in Japan during the Wings 2000 period — pure Fightertown USA meets the Land of the Rising Sun!

Last night, I made a simple request on X. I asked if anybody visiting Arlington National Cemetery for Memorial Day would stop by Alan’s grave and leave a photo for our family.
What happened next honestly caught me off guard.
By this afternoon, dozens of Americans from all walks of life had made the walk to Section 60 to visit SSG Alan W. Shaw. Veterans. Families. Complete strangers. People who had never met Alan, but chose to honor him anyway.
For one day on social media, people put aside the constant noise and negativity and came together for something bigger than themselves. My notifications filled with photos, kind messages, prayers, and stories from people honoring not just Alan, but so many of our fallen heroes.
I don’t think people fully understand what moments like this mean to Gold Star families. The fear is never just losing them. It’s losing them slowly over time as the world moves on and fewer people remember their name.
But today showed me that Alan will never be forgotten.
After years of watching social media reward some of the worst parts of humanity, today gave me a reminder that the good is still out there too.
Thank you to every single person who stopped by to visit Alan today, said his name, shared his story, or took a moment to honor the fallen.
This right here is the America Alan knew and loved enough to fight and die for.
And today, y’all showed us all that it’s still here and it’s still worth fighting for. 🇺🇸
Today is our nations Memorial Day. Enjoy your day and take a moment to remember the true meaning of this day. A day to pay our respects to all those who have given their lives in our country's defense. God bless these brave heroes and their families.
In honor of the 40th Anniversary re-release of Top Gun tomorrow, here's the "wrap photo" of the eight Tomcat crew who flew all of the aviation scenes in that movie...(I'm bottom right). Ultimate #TomcatTuesday 😎 LFG!
One could be forgiven for forgetting the sheer size and majesty that she is, yet she flies effortlessly, instantly responding to the slightest of pressures to the controls. A true work of art. Second to last 747 ever produced by the @BoeingAirplanes Company and trust me when I tell you, I fly her with kid gloves as she will grace a museum one day…
My God… The F-14 Tomcat May Actually Fly Again Over The United States
Long regarded as a flight of fancy, the "Maverick Act" could put an F-14 back into operation in the U.S. for the first time in 20 years.

Some badass Upscaled and enhanced F-14 Tomcat shots of VF-1 "Wolfpack" and VF-2 "Bounty Hunters" from 1970s off the deck of the USS Enterprise(CVN-65) also surprise appearance by Iranians F-14's(I think while training at Miramar)👀—All from the same Grumman promo footage.
