"[...] Along with that, they would risk alienating evangelicals who do prioritize so-called โculture warโ issues."
Pretending(?) only textbook white evangelicals prioritize "so-called" Culture War issues after the last 2 years is a bold strategy.

@BrentWoodcox@NCGOP@RoyCooperNC The era in which the most strident HB2 defender on the ballot got the most votes. The one that presaged ever expanding and intrusive Woke gas-lighting, leveraging the same identity politics that most (every?) Rs and sensible UAs now regard as anathema and a historic threat to USA
@tayepurks@YDSA_ECU Hi Taye. The dumb part is in blaming "capitalism" for current labor pressures that lead McD's into targeting 14/15 year olds for hire. Also, that hiring young is particularly new; 14&up have been hired at this and other fast food chains for years, and good for those 14 year olds.
@BuckSexton has embarrassing himself. @KristiNoem is right. How in the world this has become the perspective of supposed 'conservatives,' let alone those assuming the golden microphone, is beyond me.
@danway_carolina@NCTreasurer@DaleFolwell Far from requiring politicization, these two issues have been inherently political, from the point of emergence until now, imo.
@BrentWoodcox If fraternity shenanigans are even the least bit similar as they were 15 years ago, the 'rona is the last thing those freshmen need to worry about being on that fountain spigot.
Yeah, it'd be a shame if those battered women could just walk in a buy a pistol to protect themselves from their abuser. Probably safer for them to wait in line, wait 14 days (or 2 months), and then finally enjoy the right of self-defense. #ncpol#ncga House Bill 398 #halfsmart
Sen. Marcus: "If you in good conscience can say, just let anybody buy any of those, we're not going to worry about who it is, and what their mental health is, and whether they beat their wives or anything else, you cannot tell me that that is not a risk to public health [...]
Third, Critical Race Theory is not in this bill, never has been. Equity is not a catch-phrase for CRT. Language in this bill DOES NOT change current anti-discrimination laws at all. (7/9)
The ideas don't get viral spread with a class Marxism pitch; it was made too unpopular in public perception to remain a good host. Better to encapsulate them in seemingly innocuous language that plays on fomented guilt and social pressure for an exponential contagion.
