An admission, a confirmation, and an ongoing threat:
“We have interfered (in U.S. elections), we are interfering and we will continue to interfere. Carefully, accurately, surgically and in our own way, as we know how to do. … we will remove both kidneys and the liver at once.”
At moments like this it is worth considering and reflecting upon the history and principles of religious toleration. Such tolerance was not about being nice to people with different customs or holidays, but something far more profound.

Loving an enemy is wanting better for them than they want for themselves, recognizing that your welfare is intertwined.

Nobody is safe until all of us are safe.

In the last few years we've seen:
- The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer
- The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC
- The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi
- Multiple assassination attempts against Trump
- The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife
- Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson
- The assassination of Charlie Kirk
Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.
The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.
We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.
The shooting of Charlie Kirk is an atrocity that should shock and anger all of us, everywhere on the political spectrum. This sort of violence is wicked, immoral, and un-American.
Political violence does not serve either side, it never has. The video is horrifying and I know that both sides of the aisle are deeply disturbed and upset over this violent shooting. As a human being, with a beating heart, I hope he survives and my best thoughts are with his wife and precious children.
@jimmyjohns Can you please explain why your app continues to accept orders for stores when they are closed?? It’s happened to me now **three separate times**in two locations.** I received a confirmation number and my credit card was charged each time.
@TweetsbyCoachP Whatever else happens—or doesn’t happen—orient your entire approach around taking care of those kids the absolute best way you know how.
