However, most of us use Mpesa, it's our currency.
So does the cake cost 150 or 155?
If cash is your currency its 150, if Mpesa is your currency its 155.
For most of us, we would pay with Mpesa, so shouldn't the cake then be priced at 155?

@kagondu_yvonne They’re separate payments to separate parties, just like the 5 bob that goes to M-Pesa and not to the bakery.

And if Strath collects those charges itself, they’re part of the fee and belong in the quote. The cake’s 5 isn’t, because the bakery doesn’t collect it.

@kagondu_yvonne If Strath says the fee is 20k and the 15k, 5k and 30k go to a lecturer, the taxman and a landlord, then the 20k really was the whole fee. Those amounts were never Strath’s to quote, so they were never tuition.
