Proud to oppose the encampment ban today. I wish the city council voted another way, but I was glad to see so much energy of the public in the room.
Ironic it happened on the same day as the proclamation of pride month.
Also look at how sick the coffin props were.
BREAKING: The Senate just took bold action to affirm the lives of millions of LGBTQ+ and interracial couples.
By passing the Respect for Marriage Act, we sent a clear message that their relationships unequivocally deserve equal treatment and respect under the law.
Grab your tablet or clipboard, lace up your walking shoes: it's organizing time.
This is a GREAT day for door knockers and public interest fans everywhere.
Canvass directors have the hardest jobs in our family, and we're ready to give them the support they deserve.
@TPINunion At the end of my first summer canvass I was fined because I didn't hit my canvassing quota, which I only missed because I was sick. I wasn't able to make decisions about when and where the staff would canvass, or how to set up the team without me. #Fight4theFund
One of my fav memories comes from before I organized fulltime and was a chapter student with @ospirgstudents and I got interviewed for my Save the Bees concert on the local news-- I was TERRIFIED but it was soo cool as a college student 💙🐝

Started to listen to The Daily today and immediately heard an ad for a sustainability podcast hosted by a plastics producer and sponsored by the American Chemistry Council, and I wanted to barf. The audacity.
I stand in solidarity with the @TPINUnion workers who are organizing to form a union.
TPIN must respect the constitutional right of its employees to form a union and should immediately recognize the union.
Today, my colleagues and I stand in solidarity with workers at The Public Interest Network organizing with @OPEIU. ✊
An organization dedicated to progress for working people must respect its own workers’ right to organize.
We urge TPIN’s CEO to quickly recognize the union.
So excited about this. I'm no longer working with TPIN, but I'm excited to see the work my friends and fellow organizers have done for this. I truly think this is the best step to make TPIN a more fair, just, and good place to be.
We are employees of The Public Interest Network (TPIN) working together for more-than-living wages, an equitable social change movement, and a sustainable culture within our organization. That’s why we’ve filed for union recognition with @OPEIU to represent staff in all branches.
#SB343 is a common sense bill that would empower consumers and help fight plastic pollution. Excited to canvass folks in @ChrisHoldenNews district today.
Another reason why we need truth in labeling… These ARENT recyclable! But misleading ♻️ labels like this lead to the contamination of actual recylables and is bad for the environment. YES on #SB343@CALPIRG@CALPIRGStudent
I talk about my job a lot because I think it's neat. We have openings if you're interested in taking action on climate change or plastic pollution. Or if you want to build a movement of young people taking action on issues they care about! You can apply at https://t.co/drKEaLnBj4
