@RepEliCrane@jellenne Oh it’s more affordable for the recipient on the backs of the tax payer who also gets to pay for their own insurance. ACA needs to go away.
@SenRonJohnson More like “enhance” the tax payers contribution to a failed program. The ACA requiring subsidies only makes it “affordable” to the receiver, it certainly is not affordable to the tax payer who is typically paying for their own health plan. ACA needs to go.
@SenTinaSmith Wrong. Government must be smaller. These are my taxes paying a wage. I’m tired of supporting a glutinous government. RIF away @russvought let’s even try some zero base budgeting. Since those of us in the real world do this in business.
@SenSanders Yes it does. Welcome to business 101, no money no people, out here in the real world RIFs are necessary when there isn’t a budget to support the expense of employees. Welcome to our world.
@SenWarren So the ACA isn’t so “affordable” since it requires tax payers to cover the subsidies required to make it “affordable”. #schumershutown 60 votes are required to open the government, why is your party keeping it closed?
@SenSchumer No new spending. Seems you are the one causing this. Get your party in order. Vote the clean bill through. No healthcare for illegal aliens, no subsidies, no new spending. Get it done now #SchumerShutdown
On Friday, I went to the Portland ICE facility and was denied the ability to conduct congressional oversight. I was told it was because of the government shutdown.
It looks like the shutdown didn't affect Kristi Noem or right-wing influencers from overseeing anything. More proof Trump isn't trying to solve any problems, he's just desperately trying to fuel a narrative that doesn’t exist.
Sad.
