Small businesses are amongst the hardest hit by #COVID19. Today we announced that we’re delivering more than $900 million in rent relief for small businesses and landlords to help keep people employed, and businesses from shutting their doors.
We’ve reached agreements with all provinces and territories to lower rent for small businesses by 75% for the months of April, May, and June. If your small business has been hit hard by COVID-19, the government will cover 50% of your rent and your property owner will cover 25%.
