164 votes in favour! 🌍🗺️ This is an emotional day for me. After making this case in three books and countless contributions over many years, the world has finally agreed: Africa must be seen in its true size. We did it! ✊🏾🎉

On this day 46 years ago, after running 5,373 kilometers, the Marathon of Hope ended.
Bryan Adams sings one of his latest songs here tonight in Sault Ste. Marie. He introduced it by saying he wrote a song about our greatest Canadian. We all knew.
Terry Fox.
Just a reminder that every ocean ship entering the Great Lakes goes through the Welland Canal. Eight locks, twenty-seven miles, all of it in Ontario.
That is the route. $26.3 billion of American trade depends on it.
Trump didn’t think this through.
The Moon in Earth's shadow, last night.
Taken at max eclipse, just after Toronto midnight by friend Andrew Yee. The dot at the 3 o'clock position next to the Moon is a star, too faint for naked eye sighting.
Pictures like this help me imagine the rest of the universe.
The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”.
The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.
We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms.
Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.

I turned 63. As I get older, the things I “have to do” and the things I “want to do” continue to increase. At the same time, the time I “have to do them” continues to decrease. I constantly need to reassess how I use my time and how I live my life. That said, once you’ve taken something on, you can’t simply put it down and walk away. This year also marks 40 years since I first started creating games, and 10 years since I founded Kojima Productions. From end of October through the end of the year, we are planning to hold the “KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS 10th Anniversary Exhibition” at Azabudai Hills Gallery. The Ludens at the entrance has also been changed to the “10th Anniversary Ludens” version. While I continue to receive various opportunities and offers, I would like to remain focused on creating games.
Thank you for your continued support.
