@BarackObama You and Michelle have always been good speakers/orators. I really believed and trusted you when you were in office. It’s a shame that trust is gone because you both showed who you truly are: power-hungry couple bent on extending their power beyond the democratic process.
@TimothyWSchwab No thank you! I like to learn from normal people with wisdom and experiences gained from 98% of global population rather the privileged yet inexperienced bunch of pseudo intellectuals.
At the height of the Cold War, my uncle John F. Kennedy exchanged 26 highly personal letters with the Soviet Premier, Nikita Khrushchev. In his first letter, Krushchev told my uncle that the earth is an ark – we need to preserve it. Through this correspondence, my uncle and Khrushchev realized that they both wanted peace, but that they were surrounded by an intelligence apparatus and by military brass who considered war not only inevitable, but desirable. Sixty years later, my goals are the same. To move beyond simplistic, “us versus them” thinking, to talk to our adversaries, and to preserve this beautiful ark. When America takes the first steps toward peace, we will once again become a true world leader and true moral authority.
@UKIPAgriculture@PFFA_UK@1GarethWynJones It is very obvious who profits from smallholder farmers in the current food system. How do we truly empower smallholder farmers to earn decent living? If input costs and farmgate prices are beyond their control, what could be the solution?
@antonioguterres@IFAD Isn’t it time to launch and fund more initiatives on the localisation of food production rather than trying to sustain the unsustainable globalised food system?
