Big difference between lying about secret ministries, facts, and stats versus changing policy direction, goals, and forecasts.
The right and media need more than one neuron to understand the definition of a lie.
Deception is distorting what is or has been.
A promise, a goal, a forecast not met—a lie? No.
Changing direction based on current circumstances and not doggedly sticking to arbitrary campaign talking points from years ago, is that a lie? No.
The emotional intelligence of the media and some voters leads me to think we have become ungovernable.
At least for the rest of us, the pragmatic, progressive realists know that governing and reform take brains and strength to do what is right, not always what is popular.
Otherwise, what is the point of power if it's not spent for the betterment of all?
@Katrnish Harry loved being a part of the family. The fact that he is basically 'cut off' from them must hurt him terribly. It is his own actions that has led to this situation. I have a sister that is like this but still does not acknowledge that it was her doing that caused the hurt etc.
@TheTeaWithLee No, Harry knew what he was losing. It was huge for him losing his heritage, his family, his connections to everything that kept him grounded & relevant in his homeland, the UK. He thought he could break free & make his own way but it was a false dream.
@fashionistaera She ( or her team) surely must have had permission to post the photos of children from parents etc. If given, then there really is no problem. Except we know other children's photos are OK to publicise but just not her own. Such a hypocrite & a complete fraud!
@ElaineM11584892 Never ever found him funny, amusing or even worth following his career as what?? Don't know why he was ever given a platform in TV or on radio. Guess he must know 'some people' who find him acceptable in some way?
She would not have bombed Iran.
She would not have illegally attacked Venezuela.
She would not have destroyed the economy.
She would not have pardoned criminals, drug traffickers, and traitors.
She would not have supported Putin's Russia.
She would not have slept in the Oval Office.
She would not have an affected hand.
She would not have cut the SNAP program.
She would not have used the DOJ to attack her political enemies.
She would not have given money to foreign countries.
She would not have abandoned American farmers.
She would not have prevented the release of the Epstein files.
She would not have destroyed American democracy.
She would not have trampled on the Constitution.
She would not have abandoned the fundamental rights of citizens.
She would not have deployed American soldiers against the American people.
She would not have destroyed the White House.
She would not have enriched her family through government influence.
She would not have lied about her health records.
She would not have played golf.
She wouldn't have asked people to cheat in future elections.
She wouldn't have said "Quiet piggy" to a female journalist.
She wouldn't have invited Putin to Alaska.
She wouldn't have appointed an administration of incompetents.
She wouldn't have done everything Trump did.
Australia is running out of diesel fuel for our farmers & industry due to Trump’s war and Pauline Hanson’s One Nation is wasting precious fuel getting huge advertising trucks to drive aimlessly around big cities bitching about our elected Prime Minister. #auspol
To everyone so eager to cancel someone for a tattoo they got at age 22, a drunk text, a selfie they took in the middle of a mental health crisis:
Show us your laptop.
Show us your iCloud.
Open your entire digital life to your worst enemy. No context. No filter. No explanation.
You won’t.
You won’t because you know what I know. Any one of us, frozen at our worst moment, photographed in our lowest hour, looks like a monster. Looks like a stranger. Looks like someone who deserves to be cast out.
That is not who we are.
My mom and baby sister were killed in a car accident when I was just a kid. Cancer took my brother Beau, my best friend and my rock. I battled alcoholism. I battled addiction. I chose the coward’s way out more times than I can count.
For years I believed the defining chapters of my life were written by tragedy, loss, and shame.
I no longer believe that.
Pain can shape us. Loss can humble us. Failures can leave scars that never fully fade. But none of them have the authority to define us.
And it sure as hell ain’t the critic that counts.
That authority belongs to us alone-the person in the arena.
Every setback presents a choice. Play the victim, or cut the bullshit and take ownership for who we become next.
Life does not determine our character. It reveals it.
Again and again we are asked the same question. When shit happens, what next?
We are not defined by what happened to us. We are not defined by the worst photo, the worst text, the worst tattoo, the worst night. We are defined by the person we choose to become. And by the courage to choose that person, every single day.
So before you reach for the gavel - show us your laptop.
You won’t.
The whole world saw mine. And I am still here. Still becoming. Still choosing. Still standing.
That is the only definition that matters.
@belinduhpyne Never thought he was funny in any way. Just didn't like him. He is just now well over the top & I just don't see he is relevant at all. On TV? So what. I think he needs a platform to be seen for any supporters he still has.
@Angry_Staffer As an Aussie who follows US politics it's like a Zombie movie..
"Yeah we got them under control but they keep coming back so we're totally going to get rid of them this time. We nearly got them all but there are still some around. Can't negotiate but yeah, we'll get what we want!
@Fibutton Why would any wife or partner rub his back like that when he was clearly enjoying himself & didn't need any sort of contact for reassurance or any other reason??? It's just so disturbing in many ways & Harry doesn't react to it. Maybe he's immune to her clutchy stroking behaviour
@royalrollup So socially inept! Has no clue as to a natural reaction to anything. Has to look & mimic other people to try & appear 'normal'. Her mannerisms remind me of an awkward teenager trying to look cool & relevant. She has not grown into an adult & thinks her 'cutesy' act shields her.
