The explosive growth of Conductor at Netflix and across at the industry is something I still find incredible. Read more about this in Netflix Tech Blog by the Conductor Team. https://t.co/hRQ8rNCRwF
Conductor started with a relatively simple idea. Make it dramatically easier for developers to build complex distributed applications without having to solve orchestration, state, retries, failures and recovery over and over again. What happened next was amazing. Millions of workflow executions became billions. More teams adopted it. More applications were built on it. The use cases became larger and increasingly mission critical.
And Conductor kept scaling. To me, this is one of the most exciting things about building a platform. You can start by solving one hard problem really well, and developers take it places you never imagined. And we are at the beginning of an even bigger chapter now. The world is moving from orchestrating microservices to orchestrating APIs, events, data, infrastructure, LLMs, tools and AI agents. Applications are becoming more distributed, more asynchronous and far more complex. AI and rise of coding agents is also a tailwind for us. There will be more applications that will built in the next 12 months than in the last 10 years. Conductor is to the goto platform for building these mission critical apps. The problem Conductor was created to solve is becoming more important than ever. That is why we built Orkes. We took everything we learned building and scaling Conductor at Netflix and are now bringing that platform to companies around the world. And Conductor OSS (https://t.co/uWGvZnpU66) continues to give developers everywhere the ability to build on the same fundamental architecture.
From millions to billions of executions at Netflix, and literally trillions across the Conductor ecosystem, to what developers and enterprises are building today,. The biggest chapter for Conductor is still ahead of us.
Thrilled to lead Series A and partner with @orkesio - popular orchestration platform built on the #OSS project Conductor. Thousands of organizations and Fortune 100 companies rely on the Conductor project actively maintained by Orkes, including Atlassian, Tesla, Oracle, AmEx, GE Healthcare, and government agencies like the UK’s Ministry of Justice.
@jeugeorge, @virenbaraiya, @diliplukose, @boneyorkes, and Orkes team are leading the creation of one of the most interesting categories in software infrastructure. Orkes offers the fastest way to scale distributed systems across microservices, APIs, AI models, and event-driven architectures for any language, framework, and level of complexity.
Orkes is loved not only by developers, but also large enterprises such as United Wholesale Mortgage and Foxtel. Orkes’ adoption doesn't depend on writing code. Its no-code interface, easy set-up, and fast time-to-value make it immensely popular with organizations globally!
@NexusVP OSS family has steadily grown over the past 15 years, now 18 companies! @orkesio joins the likes of @Minio, @FingerprintJS, @Rancher_Labs, @NxDevTools, @HasuraHQ, @h2oai, @growth_book@OpenObserve in our community.
Thanks @kintan for introducing us almost 3 years ago when we originally started our relationship with Orkes. Excited to also join hands with our dear friends at @BatteryVentures (@Dthakker02, @DanelDayan) and @VertexVUS (@bhadrasandeep, @chsrbrts)!
