U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Birmingham, once called for the National Guard to be deployed in Chicago to combat crime.
Now she's opposing @MikeRogersForMI's push to do it in Detroit.
"Was wrong in ‘67 and it’s wrong now," she said yesterday on X.

Met with representatives of MI11’s pro-Israel community today. We discussed the need to support our ally Israel, the world’s only Jewish state, what I’m doing in the Congress to combat the rise in antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment worldwide, and the need to reach a lasting peace where Hamas is defeated and Israel is secure.

@JeremyAllenMoss@MIRSnews Why did it take you 19 minutes of the interview to finally mention the atrocities that Palestinians are experiencing at the hands of the Israeli government & military
It is infuriating when others dictate to us what is & isn’t antisemitic — as they cheerlead the destruction of Israel from campus, use that as the reason to harass Jewish students, & then wish “Happy Passover to those observing” making no connection to what Jews actually observe.
CNN: "We're telling Biden that we remain uncommitted for now until we see some significant change. It is a long time from November, but we have a presidential primary on February 27th and we are going to vote uncommitted." -@AbrahamAiyash
I have signed the pledge to vote "Uncommitted."
Just like 2020, I do not have confidence in Biden to represent the needs of my community, both locally and globally. This time, I can not and will not co-sign the actions of a government that sees genocide as the cost of business.
It’s so bizarre how presumably sane people with modicum of rationality can say with a straight face that contextualization is wrong. They want us to believe that events just happen out of the blue, that cause and effect don’t exist.
