I couldn’t list them all, obviously, but let’s put it into perspective.
Islamist terrorist attacks worldwide since 1979:
1979–April 2024: 66,872 attacks
By period:
1979–2000: 2,194 attacks
2001–2012: 8,265 attacks
2013–April 2024: 56,413 attacks
Total Deaths: at least 249,941
Now, who is the biggest threat to the world, again?
"Fair share" - the phrase every looter uses when he wants what he didn't earn.
You call them "oligarchs" while proposing to seize 5% of their wealth by force. Who is the one wielding state power here, Senator?
You just proposed a moratorium on AI data centers - literally trying to freeze the most productive technology of our era. How many jobs, how much wealth, how much human progress does YOUR agenda cost Americans? No one tallies that bill.
California's billionaires are already fleeing to Nevada. The Hoover Institution estimates this tax will cost the state $25 billion net. You would destroy the golden goose and then call it justice while ignoring the price paid in blood, sweat and tears because of your policies.
"The people want it" - 54% voting to confiscate another man's property doesn't make it right. Two wolves and a sheep voting on dinner is not moral governance. Rights are not subject to majority rule. That is why we are a republic.
You have spent decades producing nothing, creating nothing, building nothing - while demanding an ever-larger share of what others build. That is not fairness. It is the plunder of a man who knows too little.
@deepwebslinger They don’t care because they know when they control the Federal government they’ll just bail out failed blue states, effectively forcing their bad policies on all states.
NYT frames this as if USAID employees had a quasi-property right to high-paying, taxpayer-funded jobs.
In reality, this tells a darker story—we spent half-a-century debt-financing a managerial class of Leftists whose only qualifications were ideological.
Perhaps my favorite Supreme Court exchange in recent memory:
Solicitor general: “It’s a new world."
John Roberts: "It's a new world. It's the same Constitution."
Into my veins 😌

FBI agents have to retire at 57, air traffic controllers at 56, and pilots at 65. But somehow demented 70 and 80 year olds running the country is totally fine. Make it make sense.
A croissant shop in Little Rock just asked the Governor of Arkansas to leave because her presence made employees feel “uncomfortable.”
She was having lunch with two other moms.
She had already eaten. Already paid. Already tipped.
And they still asked her to leave.
Then as she stood to go, someone shouted at her group and made an obscene hand gesture in her direction .
The “party of tolerance” strikes again.
Here’s the thing. They have every right to refuse service. This is America. Private businesses can make their own decisions.
But decisions have consequences.
Ask the owners of The Red Hen how this works.
In 2018, The Red Hen in Virginia kicked Sarah Huckabee Sanders out while she was still eating because the owner opposed the Trump administration .
The Red Hen closed in late 2023 .
The Croissanterie has every right to ask the governor to leave.
And every customer in Arkansas has every right to never walk through that door again.
When did we, in America — the home of capitalism, the birthplace of “the customer is always right” — decide that the smartest business strategy is to alienate half your potential customers over politics?
You run a croissant shop. You sell pastries and lattes. Nobody walked in asking for your political position on the LEARNS Act.
They wanted a croissant.
And instead of selling them one, you turned your bakery into a political statement.
They’re already getting destroyed on Yelp .
The Red Hen learned this lesson the hard way. The Croissanterie is about to learn it the same way.
You have the right to refuse service.
You also have the right to go out of business.
The market doesn’t care about your feelings either. 🦋

Flashback: UN’s reputation got completely destroyed by Argentine President Milei during his speech at the general assembly:
“[…] At a certain point, this organization stopped upholding the principles outlined in its founding declaration […] In this very house that claims to protect human rights, they have allowed the entry of bloody dictatorships, such as those of Cuba and Venezuela, without the slightest reproach […] In this very house that claims to defend the rights of women, it allows countries that punish their women for showing skin to join the committee for the elimination of discrimination against women […] In this very house, there is a systemic voting pattern against the State of Israel, which is the only country in the Middle East that defends liberal democracy, while simultaneously demonstrating a total inability to respond to terrorism.”
