ten years ago today—July 2, 2016—I prayed a bold prayer and God healed my lungs. I have not touched an inhaler from that day to this day. never underestimate the power of prayer! the God who did it before can do it again—TESTIMONY is PROPHECY. this post is a prayer, in Jesus name, amen.
The US Men's soccer team is a million percent more likable than the women's soccer team.
So refreshing to see a group of really good people representing the US while actually loving their country.
Chris Richards, a U.S. national team player and Christian, was seen praying on his knees after the United States' FIFA World Cup victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
🚨 Zlatan Ibrahimović on the inconsistency of VAR after Folarin Balogun’s red card compared to the earlier Lionel Messi challenge against Algeria:
🗣️ “Now we see the inconsistency. One player is protected, another is exposed. That is the biggest problem in football today.”
“If Balogun’s challenge is a straight red card, then people have every right to ask why similar incidents are judged differently. The rules should not change depending on the name on the back of the shirt.”
“This decision exposes the rigidity of VAR, but also its inconsistency. VAR was introduced to remove controversy, yet too often it creates even bigger arguments.”
“Football cannot have two standards—one for the biggest stars and another for everyone else. Either the law is the law, or it means nothing.”
“The fans don’t ask for perfection. They ask for consistency. They want to know that every player, whether it’s Messi, Balogun or anyone else, is judged by exactly the same standard.”
“When supporters start questioning whether reputation influences decisions, that’s dangerous for the credibility of the game. Trust in officiating disappears.”
“VAR should make football fairer, not make people wonder why identical situations end with completely different outcomes. That’s the conversation everyone will be having after this.”
🇺🇸 🚨🚨POCHETTINO:
"I have no problem with red cards when they're deserved but if Balogun is sent off for that challenge, then explain to me why Messi wasn't against Algeria. The rules cannot change depending on the name on the back of the shirt. Football deserves consistency"
Mauricio Ruffy proclaims the gospel after his UFC White House win
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jesus saved my life, he wants to save your life too. Give your life to Jesus" ✝️
Gotta say I have really enjoyed watching @TheUFL this season, some good football with some good football players… the NFL needs to get behind this and use to grow players like they used to with #NFLEurope (I know the incredible value it would have)!
