Ghosts of Monsoons Past. July 27, 2018. The second of three consecutive days in 2018 with the best conditions possible for lightning photography. This is a composite of two consecutive photos taken in NW Tucson. #azwx#monsoon#lightning#Tucson#monsoon2018
@ReedTimmerUSA As someone who has lived in southern AZ for 44 years, next week is looking like a great setup for monsoon activity state-wide, even into CA. Possible easterly wave at the end of the week. π
Never Stop Chasing! Looking forward to the movie!
@SandyofCthulhu I love the Crawling Eye! I also recommend the MST3K riff. They do a good job of making fun of it without stepping too much on the actual movie. The mountain is a character, it's moody, and we get to see the alien roughly the right amount. π
@latino_slant Stanley Kubrick, James Cameron, John Huston, Harvey Weinstein, David Lynch, etc. all had EGO but some left a lot more bodies in their wake than others. Same in any business. It's constructive & destructive, you don't have one without the other. When near it, protect yourself.
@RealJamesWoods Excellent effort by both Woods & Wayne! I've listened to it several times and it just keeps getting better. Sort of Johnny Cash meets the Crash Test Dummies. Highly recommended ππππ
@DowdEdward Grok says:
"Edward Dowd's post uses a meme to humorously contrast the frustration of manually deciphering complex X posts with the ease of using Grok."
The AI says you're promoting AI & the correct button is: silicon.
My carbon CPU says current AI is more of a silly-con.π€·
@ScottJenningsKY Scott: "It's a beautiful day!"
Fellow Panelist: "I disagree Scott! There's no evidence of that. Are you a meteorologist Scott? You don't know if it's a beautiful day because you aren't properly educated! Opinions can only come from the people I agree with. Argue that Scott!
@SirlinJohn One night I was out photographing a storm when I had an uneasy feeling of something nearby. Do pay attention to that feeling! I looked & there was an 8 ft long Black King Snake heading towards me, went right under the tripod.
