@JimmyRAGE3@CNBC no it is quite the opposite. The ledger is public and online. It is WHY it makes crypto “trustless” (meaning it doesn’t require an institution like a bank or fed to verify or falsify a transaction). This mechanism alone makes it a fairer mode of transaction than fiat.
@shamone_mfk@CryptoJoker12 thanks, this makes sense. As far as I understand more than half of xrp is still in escrow, released at moments to control volatility. This leads me to thinking that it will grow slowly over the next 5-6 years (or longer depending on the speed of institutional adoption)
