I’m thrilled to share that a new @BetterKidCare module will be launched in mid August titled: Peer Allies for Children and Youth with Diabetes. (@BetterKidCare is an extension of @penn_state .) This will be the third BKC module about T1D created w/ money from the @PAHealthDept .
This report describes the epidemiology and clinical course of patients younger than 21 years of age from 26 states who had multisystem inflammatory syndrome. Many were infected with #SARSCoV2 at least 1 to 2 weeks before syndrome onset. 73% were previously healthy. #COVID19
Findings indicate that exposure to ordinary natural settings in the course of after-school and weekend activities may be widely effective in reducing attention deficit symptoms in children.
