Let’s be clear: The President is advocating for an attack on 10+ million U.S. residents in two of America’s largest cities.
This is not normal. None of this is.
And we will continue to remind folks of that every day.
FOX: Does that disturb you to hear this growing movement of democratic socialists in the United States who think it is the government's job to make sure you live a dignified life?
El-Sayed: I assume you went to good public school. And you get to drive on good roadways or wish the roads are good? When you put your garbage out, someone picks it up?
.@ezraklein: “What is, to you, the ‘rage economy’?”
@JamesTalarico: “The billionaires own the algorithms and the news networks. They have created for-profit platforms that divide us on an hourly basis — by party, by race, by gender, by religion. They elevate the most extreme voices very strategically to provoke our outrage, because that leads to more clicks, which leads to more money for them.
They are selling us conflict right into our bloodstream, and they’re calling it connection.
And I think it’s left people starving for actual community.”
Some melodies aren’t just meant to be heard, they can be experienced visually, too. Pachelbel’s “Canon in D” offers a captivating blend of music and visual beauty.
Red carpet. Military flyover. White House state dinner.
All for the leader of a country whose state companies provided satellite targeting imagery to our enemies that was used to attack and kill three American soldiers.
Shameful.
Abdul El-Sayed is spot-fucking-on.
"We don't live in capitalism. We live in corporate socialism. If you're a corporation, you can buy a politician to get that politician to rig the system for you so you make more money and you ex out every other market in which you compete. You need good healthcare. You need a good education. We need childcare. We need good roads and bridges. We don't need to send our money to big corporations to subsidize them, we need to be invested in people so they have the human capital to be able to do all the things as they graduate and come out."
Abdul El-Sayed: When you're the President of the United States and people are struggling with gas, you don't sit there and talk about your new helipad or drapes in the ballroom. You actually go and do your damn job.

This isn’t just about grants. It’s about whose health gets studied—and whose gets ignored.
Defund research on women and minority communities. Weaken the safety net.
Different policies. Same consequence: the people who already have the least lose the most.
State run media, state owned enterprises, prosecuting political opponents, gifts from foreign countries, selling pardons, massive amounts of money flowing into the President’s bank account, and banners with his head plastered on government buildings. NONE OF THIS IS NORMAL.
Our country faces many pressing issues in 2026. Voter fraud is not one of them.
“This is a made-up problem by Donald Trump to create a permission structure to make it harder for you to vote and easier for him to cheat,” Marc Elias says.

Trump's ban on MSNOW, CNN, and Politico is not only part of the autocratic playbook, but the timing is no coincidence. Trump is well in the autocratic backfire process, thus, entire media outlets he sees as threats must be banished.
This is a moment of reckoning for America.
In anticipation of what to do if the NIH begins to evaporate as a viable mechanism to support American biomedical research I’ve written the two attached articles. One for young PhD scientists in @PLOSBiology, the other for MD/DO health professionals @BakerInstitute. These are admittedly imperfect papers since nothing can compensate for losses in NIH funds, but it’s a start. The good news is that you can still have a career in the U.S. but things won’t be quite the same
Here is the reality. We have the votes to impeach Pete Hegseth tomorrow.
Mike Johnson knows it, we know it.
So he’s sending us all home to avoid the vote. https://t.co/dbV9WX9B61
