The harassment and abuse of power my brother @mdshrp had to go through to do the sport he loves is outrageous.
But instead of accepting it, he spoke out.
Hopefully, this spurs real action and changes so no one else has to suffer https://t.co/OSbfj9acPW
@10stinson @SD62_Sooke Yes, well said Scott! But you forgot that she also has wisdom, a bucketful of common sense and my favourite…. a wicked sense of humour.
The World Triathlon Athlete Committee is worried some athletes won't be allowed to race both the individual and relay events in Tokyo:

A shot across the bows from @worldtriathlon for any nations looking to subvert the spirit of the Games and pull athletes from the individual competition to save them for the mixed relay. (A situation we warned about weeks ago in @TriathloningC 👊) https://t.co/TLYZyQxkmX
Put a CAnadian coach in front of CAnadian athletes working with CAnadian development coaches. There’s no magic beans from some person who bigs themself up abroad. Develop homegrown talent both athletes AND coaches. We do this EVERY OLYMPIC CYCLE!!!
So @TriathlonCanada paid hundreds of thousands of dollars over 8 years to have online coaching, made it as hard as possible for devo coaches to operate beside the nat center despite 12 nat team ath developed, now won’t start Olympian female athletes in Tokyo. Sounds on brand.
I hope this issue on fair decision-making, ethics, and safe sport continues to be a conversation now and following the Olympics games. This should be at the forefront of Triathlon Canada's agenda. #safesport
