@chapinthecity @wandrer_earth the developer is usually answering questions or someone from the community can help on the reddit. They helped me understand a few things. https://t.co/X3CYoOhMks
@NWChiFiets i haven't been able to submit a "debris bike lane" report in what feels like years. I have to remember to do it when I get home and have a computer in front of me.
Cannot believe I'm this day and age @ChicagoDOT is still building cul de sacs and traffic diverters that do not allow the flow of bikes and other mobility. Such a staggering failure of leadership #bikechi
@aka60643@BikingMom now I need them to do the 105th crossing (I assume its in the works, they've been slowly knocking them off the last few years in the area).
@chapinthecity @ChicagoDOT Absolutely! I would love more than anything to relax on my commute and have the option of letting my guard down, but CDOT doesn't enable that anywhere in this city.
who the f at @ChicagoDOT signed off on all these curb cubs on one of the more popular cycle roads on the south side. Per usual, I'm glad I'm an experienced cyclist who sees these coming, but everyone isn't a cranky veteran in the war on cars. #bikechi
@40thforward It's been a while since I double checked the exact number, but my commute ride goes through 12 wards to get downtown from the 19th, so thank you sir π«‘, i couldn't agree more
@NWChiFiets@BicycleIllinois or for more chill MLK South to 41st/Root. Take Root to Racine South. At Sherman Park (52nd) Cut through to Loomis and Cruise Loomis to 83rd. Take 83rd Over to Dan Ryan Woods. Racine can be a little hectic on weekdays with Stockyards Traffic, but pretty quiet on Weekends.
@NWChiFiets@BicycleIllinois MLK South to Marquette. Marquette can get dirty with debris, but its generally chill. Take that Damen or Loomis. Loomis is more chill. Turn @ 83rd and cruise over. MLK will lose its bike lanes at the end of Washington park. Can maybe be rough for less experienced cyclists.
