The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.

The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.

Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

Babel vs SWC Plugin Speed Comparison in Next.js

I was wondering how fast the SWC plugin I made was.
So I made a simple benchmark comparing with the existing babel plugin doing the same transformation.

..How was the result?

What's more surprising is that the SWC plugin has more transforming coverages than the Babel plugin.

SWC plugin takes 12400ns for a file, while Babel plugin takes 874100ns.

Conclusion: SWC is 70x+ faster
