@VijayGajeraO Nikhil Kamath has also funded a co-living start up “Settle” based in Banglore who are not giving back the security deposits of thousands of their customers.
@bankofbaroda@BankofBarodaCEO I had taken education loan by mortgaging my property. When I paid back the loan amount, the property had to be de-mortgaged. The branch manager told me the fee for this purpose has to be paid by me, although, I argued why should bank not take this charge? Moreover, I was asked to foot the bill for document writer as well as the onus of arranging witness was placed on me. Please confirm if this process is as per RBI guidelines, else I must be refunded the charges including the document writer charges.
@AshishGupta325 A small company GeeCee ventures with 760 cr market cap holds 11 lacs shares. They will be worth 220 cr. Disclaimers- I hold this share.
When 740 children died at sea and every country said "no," one man—who had reason to remain silent—said "yes."
The year was 1942.
The ship drifted in the Arabian Sea, like a floating coffin. There were 740 Polish children on board. Orphans. Survivors of Soviet labor camps, where their parents had died of the flu or starvation. They had escaped through Iran, but a more terrible punishment awaited them.
No one would accept them.
The British Empire—the most powerful power of its time—refused entry to port after port along the Indian coast. "It's not our responsibility. Sail away."
Almost finished with food. No medicine. Time was running out.
Twelve-year-old Maria held her six-year-old brother's hand. She had promised her dying mother to protect him. But how do you protect someone when the whole world turns on them?
And then news came to the small palace in Gujarat.
The ruler was Jam Sahib Digvijay Singhji, Maharaja of Navanagar. In the royal system, he was just a minor prince. The British controlled the ports, trade, and army. He had every reason to obey and remain silent.
When his advisors told him that 740 children were stranded at sea after the British refused to take them to any port in India, he asked one question:
"How many children are there?"
"Seven hundred and forty, Your Majesty."
He paused and calmly said:
"The British may control my ports. But they do not control my conscience. These children are docked at Navanagarh."
The advisors warned him:
"If you challenge the British—"
"So I will stop. "
He sent a message to the ship: You are welcome here.
When British officials protested, the Emperor remained firm.
"If the strong refuse to save the children," he said.
I, the weak, will do what you cannot.
In August 1942, the ship struggled to enter Navanagara harbor under the blazing summer sun.
The children walked like ghosts—exhausted, blank-eyed, many too weak to walk. They had learned to hope for good. Hope had turned dangerous.
The Maharaja was waiting for them on the dock.
Dressed simply in white, he knelt down to be at their eye level. Through interpreters, he spoke words they had not heard since their parents died.
"You are no longer orphans.
You are my children now.
I am your Bapu—your father."
Maria felt her brother's handshake. After months of rejection, these words seemed surreal.
But he was serious.
He didn't build a refugee camp.
He built a home.
In Balachadi, he created something amazing—a little Poland in India. Polish teachers who understand trauma. Polish food flavored with memory. Polish songs in an Indian garden. A Christmas tree under a tropical sky.
“Suffering tries to erase you,” he said. “But your language, culture, and traditions are sacred. Let's keep them here.” "
Children who were told they had no place in the world finally found a home.
They laughed again. They played again. They returned to school. Maria watched her brother chase a peacock in the palace garden, and her body remembered again what safety meant.
The Emperor used to visit them often. He remembered names. He celebrated birthdays. He watched high school plays. He comforted children crying for parents who would never return. He paid for doctors, teachers, clothing, and food—from his own wealth.
For four years, while the world was torn by war, 740 children lived not as refugees, but as a family.
When the war ended and it was time to leave, many wept. Balachadi became the only home they had ever truly known.
These children have grown and moved around the world—becoming doctors, teachers, engineers, parents, grandparents. And they have never forgotten.
Warsaw's Good Emperor Square appeared in Poland. Schools bear his name. He was awarded Poland's highest honor.
But the original monument wasn't made of stone.
It cost 740 lives.
Today, at 80 years old, they still gather. They tell their grandchildren about an Indian king who refused to turn compassion into political calculation.
@piyushchaudhry These sellers are just doing charity. They believe in giving, All day long they could have got a much higher price, but wait till 3.15 pm to share their wealth to needy by taking 2 to 3 % hit. SEBI should start some philanthropic awards for such generous people😀
CAS is meant for price discovery, right! Now a big player suddenly realizes that stocks has become more valuable in last 10 minutes and places a big order. Then again after two minutes realizes that value has gone down and withdraws it, so simply the whole thing looks innocent, nothing wrong. But this act is responsible for faking a price of 325 for some 25 lakh option quantity to zero, a game of some 80 crore plus. Will SEBI investigate this. What is the point in continuing the derivative trade when underlying is not trading. Why not just stop derivative trading and do the settlement post discovery of CAS price. Since anyway the option chain gets finalised once price is discovered, just do the settlement post discovery. At least this manipulation from 3.15 to 3.28 can be avoided. @IndiaSebi@CNBC_Awaaz
@AshishGupta325 Yes bro, you can do that, you just need a parter in crime who will put sell orders at your price in equally large numbers. What do you think, is a group of people are already not doing that? Well they are partying Ona watch somewhere now! 😳
@adityaparakh@saurabh_gunjal_ How much amount in today’s Sensex expiry, this 127 cr CAS turnover, caused to change hands from buyers to sellers, 5000 cr, or 10,000 cr. Can anyone calculate?
Yes, I agree. This is such a great opportunity presented by SEBI to big players with sophisticated Software’s. Today when the Sensex price was discovered at 15:29:30, for about 10 seconds the options were still trading at higher value than what should be as per settled option chain. So basically If I had a buy option priced at say Rs 100 at one strike below ATM, it has to be traded to become zero. Who picks up all such trade? Obviously, smart money with sophisticated software’s. It is such a scam. You let market trade an option trade at 100 only to become zero technically. But then there is a race as to who picks up those trades standing in the market watch. In seconds someone is making hundreds of crores. Fact is on expiry day when the index price is discovered, the option prices are also discovered, why should derivative trade should continue after that. Has no meaning. It should freeze at CAS discovery. Continuing trade is only to help smart money and HFTs to make crores.

My request to Army, the killed terrorists should be given a quiet burial by army itself and his or her body should not be handed over to their families. Many of the terrorists are motivated as they are brainwashed that if they are killed they go to heaven and get 56 h00r$. They also know if they don’t get religious burial they will not be able to reach heaven. This will at least dissuade some of these motivated terrorists.
@Am_Shai Well, today also Sensex ignored this jump and Nifty futures also ignored it. It is only an academic exercise on non expiry days and super manipulation for expiries.
@saketh1998 Well, it is not hypothetical, but it is exactly how it is happening. Otherwise how come each of these buyer willing to pay higher price were sitting idle whole day only to place such higher bid during CAS. It is mother of manipulation and SEBI is complicit in it.
Most ridiculous rule from SEBI. You let derivative trade continue while the underlying is halted? Hey SEBI listen, derivative is a function of underlying price. It’s mother of all speculative trades to allow even expiry trade in this manner. From 3.10 pm to 3.40 pm traders will not know which strike is going to ATM. Better, introduce a trade where the winners are decided by rolling a dice. So much to say about the brain matter SEBI officials has!! At least on expiry day, please don’t introduce this system. It is not CAS but total chaos!!😳
@SauravDassss Do you know the meaning of M@dar$od. It literally means someone alleging you that you f&@k your mother. That is not free speech but demeaning someone to extreme limits. Is this is the kind of society you want to live in. You will be deeply outraged by this unless you don’t have any love and respect for your own mother. Secondly when you and your other Cockroach keep saying that the people who were involved in violent activities were sent by BJP, why you want to protect them. Let there be cases filed against these alleged BJP goons who came to disrupt your movement.
@RShivshankar This will be wrong precedent. There has to be some action. At least let such student, their parents and teachers undergo compulsory counselling sessions.
