UPDATE: Kenya’s Sebastian Sawe wins the London Marathon in a record 1:59:30, becoming the first man to finish it in under two hours. Ethiopia’s Yomif Kejelcha finishes second in 1:59:40, while Uganda’s Jacob Kiplimo places third in 2:00:28.
I would like to congratulate our national heroes @joshuacheptege1 and @jacobkiplimo2 on their outstanding performances at the TCS London Marathon! Kiplimo finished 3rd place and set a new national record of 2:00:28, and Cheptegei finished 12th with 2:06:39. Their dedication continues to inspire the entire nation.
