@thatVulcan17@Rocknes_Ghost@wthomassports This is a really weak argument. Olympics sports have no problems existing at small d2 and d3 schools that dont have highly profitable football teams.
D1 athletics generates 20 billion dollars a year. I think they can figure out the small sports like d2 and d3 has.
@LanceHathorn@notthefakeDNP@be_trades yes, the money comes from fans and as long as there is a football team wearing crimson in bryant denny in the fall, there will be asses in the seats. you know it, they know it, saban knows it so when you and he say "long term destruction" everyone knows you are lying bc you are
@iowahawkblog Indiana does not recruit high school players. If you think the best teams in the country ignoring high school players is good for the sport then why were you ever a college football fan?
@LanceHathorn@notthefakeDNP@be_trades will it look different? Sure. but youll still watch it. We are headed toward a dual super league structure with a combined playoff and have been headed in that same direction for over a decade. That includes when bama and saban were running the sport. There will always be
@be_trades@notthefakeDNP Its not at all insane when you look at the total revenue generated by the sport. In fact, they are almost definitely underpaid. Thats why the people in charge are resisting a CBA.
@Reds03@brett_johnson91@jamesjaxin I never said he wasn't good. But he certainly isn't "arguably the best pure hitter" (the og post) in the game. Not even in the debate. No where close to the debate. He has to buy a ticket to get into the debate on who the best pure hitter is.
@Reds03@brett_johnson91@jamesjaxin Overall, he is an above average offensive player. But its really is the average propping up the rest of his game. The rest of his offensive numbers are unremarkable to terrible. He does not walk. He does not hit for power. OBP and ISO correlate to runs better than avg does.
