Jitu's farewell treat(s) from April. This week @jitum_chem joins the Ph.D. program @MichiganChem to start the next chapter in his academic trajectory. Jitu helped us get started with strong light-matter coupling and such. Wish you the very best from musig_iisc !!
@softpolaron Thank you @softpolaron, for your constant support and guidance, which has been crucial to my success. I'm also grateful to the team (musig_iisc) for their help - this lab is the friendliest I have ever experienced, and I'm fortunate to have been a part of it.
Amitav defended his Ph.D. dissertation today. It was an incredible journey that started from a lab space filled with construction material. He will soon be starting as postdoc at @lunduniversity, a powerhouse in Chemical Physics. Kudos @sahu_amitav , very excited for the future!
Researchers at IISc have developed an optical spectrometer to access fast timescales along multiple spectral dimensions in systems like organic photovoltaics and emerging quantum material platforms.

Interested in knowing how vibrations can help in singlet fission? Come check out poster#2008 in Scimix #ACSSpring2024 on 18th March. Also excited to present our work on the same topic on 20th March in Gregory Voth's honorary session. Read more here: https://t.co/xajO6swqgA.
CD-ROM Cardboard Spectrograph from Rittika and Jitu seems more popular than the Coupled Pendula 2D Spectrum (Indranil)! #IIScOpenDay2024@sscu_iisc@iiscbangalore
[1/2] Do vibrational motions matter in driving singlet fission ? If so, wht kind of vibrations and how do I unambiguously distinguish the relevant ones using spectroscopy ? Check out our work to find out.
