Twins originally had a Royce Lewis replica jersey giveaway for today. They took it off the promotional schedule when Lewis was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul.

Then the Saints scheduled a separate Royce Lewis t-shirt giveaway for today, only for him to get called up by the Twins.

Charles McAdoo is apparently a huge Star Wars fan. When he joined the Blue Jays and had to sign his contract, John Schneider handed him a pen. McAdoo declined it and pulled out a Lightsaber pen.

His first MLB homer yesterday came on Star Wars night at Camden Yards.
