@BlakeSNeff We have a group of TPS Haitians in our church who are AMAZING. They love the Lord, hard working, contributing to society and making a difference in our community. Their country is nowhere near safe and they have come from horrible situations. It’s unfortunate we can’t see them.
@bennyjohnson I think we need to be cautious. I pastor Haitians here on TPS. They are very hard-working, love God with all their hearts and are grateful for this country. They have been fortunate to escape gangs and violence. Not all circumstances—but there are many that contribute to society.
@RepMcCormick As someone who identifies as conservative—the lack of knowledge and compassion is freaking astounding. We have Haitians on TPS in our church. They are all HARD-WORKING, extremely grateful people who have escaped terrible gangs and Haiti is in no position to return to.
The best way to handle this. “I made a grave mistake. This is not a joke, nor is it funny. I can see why Christians are upset with this. I repent of my actions, and pray for forgiveness.
.@POTUS: "IT WAS NOT A JESUS DEPICTION. IT WAS ME AS A DOCTOR."
"It was me...as a doctor. Had to do with Red Cross. Only the fake news could come up with that one."
@WellsJorda89710 Yeah, with what the picture looks to be people praying to him and looking to him. This is the problem. There isn’t a problem with healing the sick. The problem is with the depiction of being a savior.
@LauraLoomer We are outraged because it is blasphemy to our religion. He is not Christ—nor will he ever be. Nobody is calling for his arrest over the meme—we are calling for repentance and accountability for his actions.
@landonschott I mean can’t we do both?? And can’t we just say it without bringing up the other party? There was a time Kings and Emperors feared the True God.
Now, they use Christians like pawns because they aren’t called to repent.
@factpostnews I don’t subscribe to all the theology of this pastor but he is literally quoting Galatians 2:20. You are missing the point. They aren’t talking about physical death. It’s spiritual death. Paul language. This is very common Christian doctrine.
@jamestalarico You know full well what he meant. You are using it as a way to promote your agenda. The Christian life is about dying and dying to yourself. He never mentioned your physical death.
@LauraLoomer You surely don’t have kids and I can tell you that those parents feel defeated as it is. They can’t help it and now they gotta deal with people like this. Have a little compassion.
@CarriePrejean1 As a Pentecostal—I don’t agree with everything you say, obviously—but I also don’t agree with this. We can agree Dispensationalism is really bad theology and we need difference of opinions on the commission.
@coachbrucepearl Sir, respectfully you forgot the part where there is unbelief you are cut off. The tree is for those that believe in Christ. I pray that my Jewish friends receive Christ so they are grafted into the kingdom!
You are a coward when you respond and block someone from engaging back. I’m tired of this political Jesus on both sides. This isn’t a whataboutism when you engage in hypocrisy celebrating one side while denouncing another for the same thing.
@kevinmyoung lol didn’t you post that Bad Bunny’s halftime show was the best you ever seen? Can you speak to the vulgar lyrics he shared in his music?
I don’t expect Bad Bunny’s performance to be Holy because he isn’t a Christian, but you can’t speak to one side while celebrating the other.
Honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see more transfers from @MizzouFootball offense . This game exposed Drinkwitz more than anything. He needs to give the offense up completely next year.
