@Brexit_Refugee@TTurnerGB@JeremyClarkson Larger farmers like Clarkson have had their payments phased out, the remaining BPS payments (which extend to 2027 only) are only for small holders.
@Brexit_Refugee@TTurnerGB@JeremyClarkson In England there are NO payments for farming. NO payments. There are payments in Wales and Scotland however. In England there are payments for environmental schemes but they don’t produce food.
@RogueMon3y@DiurnalOwls@Glinner@grok That’s not true. People set up trusts for relatively small amounts of money, often because they want the protection of a trustee to oversee the well being of the beneficiary of a trust. A disabled person for example so they are looked after their dependents die.
@HighwaysNWEST@RawlinsonR53949 Can you explain why this is a necessary safety precaution? If the road is free flowing how does a software update necessitate 50 mph? We would just like to understand the risk you are mitigating. Thank you.
@AiringViews@AnnaLongthorp@angelaeagle@EmmaforWycombe So do tell me how they’re responsible for global commodity prices, US tariffs and the weather? Yeah sure Brexit has not been helpful as the UK government has decided not to match the EU subsidies but were taxpayers really happy subsiding farmers anyway?
@ReissOmari This is actually correct. You can only apply a temporary cold patch asphalt in the winter with permanent repairs undertaken with hot-mix asphalt in the summer. Google it if you don’t believe me.
@CitizenUddin@TfL@MagnaFooduk@metpoliceuk This didn’t happen. These are temporary traffic lights, their phasing is normally really annoying (explaining why it was ignored). And disobeying a temporary traffic light is not an endorsable offence (ie no NIP)
