Statsminister Ulf Kristersson fick ta emot stående ovationer av amerikanska kongressen under President Bidens årliga ”State of the Union”-tal ikväll.

Ikväll var första gången någonsin som en svensk statsminister blivit inbjuden av USA:s president för att sitta i ”the box” ihop med presidentens fru och under State of the Union.

Det är sannolikt också första gången någonsin som en amerikansk president nämner en svensk statsminister i sitt tal.
