Nada que proceses en modelos de IA en la nube es privado.
Cuando envías un prompt, código, documento o cualquier información a servicios como Grok, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Qwen Cloud, DeepSeek, MiMo, etc., estás entregando ese contenido a la empresa proveedora.
Todos los proveedores (xAI, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Alibaba, etc.) incluyen en sus términos de servicio cláusulas que les otorgan una licencia amplia, irrevocable y perpetua para usar, almacenar, analizar y entrenar con tus inputs y outputs.
Aunque ofrezcan opciones de “opt-out” o “private chat”, la realidad es la misma: Tus datos dejan de ser privados en el momento en que salen de tu dispositivo.
La única forma de mantener verdadera privacidad es ejecutar modelos de IA localmente en tu propia computadora, donde los datos nunca abandonan tu máquina.

Absolutely agree. LLMs can be great teachers and collaborators, but (for now) they are bad leaders.

Beware of the AI trap:

- If you use them for tasks you already know, LLMs can be great sidekicks that amplify your abilities. You will be in control and will be able to identify when they're going astray and need to be steered back in the right direction.
- If you use them for tasks where you have zero knowledge, they will give the semblance of knowledge and expertise. In reality, you will be at the mercy of whatever the AI does/says. You won't be in control and you won't know when the agent goes off track.

My experience: If you want to use AI for a field that is new to you, first educate yourself (you can get help from LLMs to learn the basics, enough to be able to oversee the model's work). Don't walk blindly.
