@eric7411@bkaellner Monish said that Samsung dropped prices, disturbing the balance of the oligopoly. It was a commodity cyclical and I agreed with his exit. I just had no idea the demand that AI inferencing was about to bring.
@bkaellner Same here but for only a 50% gain. I was tired of watching Nvidia climb faster. I didn't understand the sea change in demand that AI inferencing would bring. I didn't take the time to wrap my head around the paradigm change.
@scottastevenson It took me 5 months of owning $ABNB to realize this before exiting. The majority of AirBNB's I've stayed at recently are tired and run down. The value proposition isn't what it used to be. And new listings seem to be purpose built to low standards. I'm back to hotels.
@ReneSellmann I've given up on China. As quickly as the wind changes direction in the U.S., China is even worse. At the moment I am 60/20/10/10 ( Canada / U.S. / U.K. / LATAM )
@DrewCohenMoney I subbed the first week of Feb as I completed my saasmagedon $CSU / $TOI thesis. Your channel is definitely in the top 3 out of 40 channels I follow for the quality of content and your professional yet natural way of speaking. It might be #1.
@DeepValueBagger Hey, I've been following for a while now and like how you frequently mention quality. May I ask what key metrics have helped you to identify quality? If you've posted this before please forgive me.
@Sandeman52 If Yoda tells her there is a good chance she gets stars in her eyes and starts finding all the ways they should spend it because she doesn't understand the power of compounding and the need to keep it fully invested.
My wife constantly wants to interrupt the power of compounding
