The Sun had set again at the Shiv Shakti point around thursday last week, practically ending all hopes of Vikram and Pragyan ever waking up. 🌘 #ISRO

However, this takes nothing away from the success of #Chandrayaan3. Their successful awakening would've only been a bonus and the planned mission life was 14 days to begin with, which they completed flawlessly!

During their 14 day mission, Vikram and Pragyan collected the first ever in-situ measurements of the elemental composition of Lunar rocks and regolith, sub-surface temperatures, near surface plasma and seismic activity from the Lunar south polar region.

In addition, Vikram performed a successful hop test, becoming only the second Lunar lander to ever do so!

As beautifully said by @isro, both Vikram and Pragyan shall now forever stay on the Moon as India's Lunar ambassadors. 🌕
