Late Friday night, our landmark bill to counter antisemitism in K-12 schools passed both the Senate and Assembly – and now heads to Governor Newsom’s desk! Thanks to the tens of thousands who called, wrote, and lobbied lawmakers, and the hundreds who traveled to Sacramento this week to testify in support. We are immensely grateful to Asm. Rick Zbur, Asm. Dawn Addis, and the entire Jewish Caucus for being the greatest champions.

Following the bombings in Iran, Los Angeles is closely monitoring for any threats to public safety.

There are no known credible threats at this time and out of an abundance of caution, LAPD is stepping up patrols near places of worship, community gathering spaces and other sensitive sites.
