@lisapoulton10@jason_boness@TUIUK My holiday was booked for 6th April. Since then TUI have made it almost impossible to get a refund. I therefore claimed under Section 75 of the Credit card Act via my bank and this week got my full refund. Best of Luck to you all
@cujotwothousand@TUIUK When were you due to travel Kev? There doesnt appear to many people on here who appear to have received a refund. Were you waiting long ?
@goodisonblue2@TUIUK My interpretation of their message was that we were getting the credit refund regardless....and that even if you didnt want it you had to receive it and THEN try to take action for a cash refund. The alternative is trying to call them...Best of luck with that !!!!
Over a barrel !
@BritishAirwSUCK@milton_pfc @stergios_xyz @ejwalsh_ed@HeikeII2 Thank you all for your replies. I feel that although BA are not making it easy for their customers we should get our monies back eventually either way.
@milton_pfc@BritishAirwSUCK @stergios_xyz @ejwalsh_ed@HeikeII2 I Assume that most people have paid for their tickets via credit cards. If this is the case does anyone know whether BA have to refuse a refund before we can claim via Section 75 of the consumer Credit Act instead?
I have been advised (Not via Tui) that the hotel in Jamaica that i was due to stay at from 6th April has been closed down due to the virus. Please can you advise whether this is the case and what happens now? The hotel is the Riu Montego Bay.
