@ManchesterSGs I find the lack of any real regional identity a problem. It’s hard( for me) to get behind a team that only has tentative links with a county. Also the BBC commentary and format is dreadful.
@Johnny5_55@PhilipTattagli Absolutely terrible standard of commentary. I think they think they are hilarious and it’s really all about them, their arrogance is staggering.
@thegrocersson@British_Airways I ageee that the food is ok and I can deal with the overcrowding. But I am rodent phobic and the mice issue appalls me. Why can’t this be sorted @British_Airways
@GCSE_Macbeth If this was a text on a GCSE paper, the Exam Board would have had to request copyright permission from the author. Must be different in Ireland?
@LBFlyawayhome Once, as a poor student I had to get from London to Manchester. The only option because of a rail strike was the last seat in the restaurant car of The Manchester Pullman. It was so expensive I made it my mission to eat everything on offer. Including 3rds from the soup tureen!
@amymayforrester The birch pollen is brutal at the moment and I’ve had the worst bout I’ve ever experienced. 24 hour fexofenadine last about 3 hours then it’s back to sneezing and eyes streaming.
@StiffNips2@LBFlyawayhome Me and my mate used to spend days at our small station. Ostensibly train spotting. Actually just hanging out cos there was not nuch else to do!
@LBFlyawayhome Growing up in a Lancashire mill town, this kind of scene was so alien to me it might well have been on the moon. I loved the FF books, binge read them all of the school holidays.
