Using Twitter has helped me find a number of resources about sustainability that I will be able to use in my unit of work. I have learnt that Twitter is a valuable tool to communicate with fellow educators and I will be able to use it when teaching in the future #UoNTeach

@JordanM63755403 I have recently read that Nike and Adidas have started making some of their shoes out of recycled plastic waste which is great to see!! Other companies include @woolworths @Coles @igaAustralia who now offer enviro bags for customers instead of single use plastic

@JordanM63755403 Using this wrapping for food is a great idea. I have similar things that I use and they are a great way to cut down on the use of single use plastics. Also modelling this for students will help encourage them to do the same in the future

@NGlohe I think that as teachers we need to be role models and lead by example for students. I have changed some of my habits as well to be more sustainable after learning about the negative impacts that single use items have in the environment
