@Madi_fletch I agree, we have a stack of the new Coles bags at home that kept growing before we saw them floating about in the street. Now I don't go anywhere without a handful of bags! #sustainability #UoNTeach

After beginning this unit of work, I’ve been more attentive to small initiatives around the community that enforce sustainable practice. My local Bunnings has a box bay in which they reuse their boxes by passing them off to customers instead of using plastic bags! #UoNTeach

@ellenm_morgan I definitely agree there! With increased ICT use as a global society, it is crucial for students to have these essential skills to use both in and out of school! Inclusion of ICT and other 21st century skills into lessons will n doubt have a positive impact on students #UoNTeach

@JessLandrigan I've noticed at my local Bunnings they've jumped on board with reducing waste from coffees as well, introducing a Bunnings branded #keepcup! Educating individuals on the impact of single-use products is the key to creating a more #sustainable future #UoNTeach

@cass_shanahan A school I did placement at combined this and the running of a chicken shed to both enforce responsibility and target the Living Things segment of the S&T syllabus. They then used the products to make some delicious food 🐔🥕 #UoNTeach
