You're losing deals when objections surface. Focusing on rebuttals and canned replies isn't going to save that opportunity. You've acted too late. The only time to handle an objection is before it's ever come up in the conversation. https://t.co/wtkesSryuh
@brendanjshort This is the equivalent of walking into Sunglass hut and saying “man they should really carry Ray Bans in here!”
GTM Twitter has been here and thriving for a while.
Thanks for compiling a great list though.
This came up again today in a coaching call. So common.
If your prospect has no idea what it will cost them if they fail to take action - you will get hit with a price objection.
It’s up to you to surface this as early as possible in the interaction.

“Dump the script just talk to people. You have to be human.”
This is great if you have pre-planned talking points. Milestones you remain faithful to. Control of the conversation.
Most salespeople can’t do this without the prospect taking the wheel and running things off course.
@BeReasonable01 Unfortunately in many professional circles it’s a de facto resume. Place is a cesspool of self-aggrandizement and back patting.
Every once in a while you get to see a sob story about someone who got fired and can’t find a new job!

Schedule this for M-F with Claude cowork and browser extension:
“Open up my Salesnav, reference this list of key accounts, create a new tab for each relevant profile, do this for 30 profiles.”
Go make your coffee, come back and start sending connection reqs.
I find it hard to balance pushing myself to do more, be better; and being too negative or too hard on myself.
This has been my struggle since entering the business world 15 years ago.
Ambition vs self-compassion
Anybody have a good answer to this one?

@tyruspradier Tony Robbins appropriated a key idea of NLP with his reframe:
“When I feel frustrated, I get EXCITED. That’s a signal I’m fed up and about to make a change.”
@MarcLobliner@ChipotleTweets If I recall the CEO said “if you ask for more we will give you more.”
Not great for the brand when you’re known to be stingy and subsequently rude.
