@Copilot LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
AI won’t replace software engineers, but it will expose the ones who never learned to think like engineers.
Tools can speed you up, but if your thinking’s wrong, AI just gets you to the wrong place faster.
Engineering still matters.
Most teams don't have a tech problem. They have a learning problem. Fast feedback, short iterations, real users. That’s how software grows.
Stop polishing code in a vacuum. Ship. Learn. Improve. Repeat.
On our way back home from vacation we had to showcase our demonstrated preference for @SteaknShake, home of tallow fries, delicious shakes, and an X/Twitter account that knows more about economics than all the branches of the US government combined.
Dear @JoeBiden
Donald Trump has promised to commute the prison sentence of Ross Ulbricht on day 1 if he is reelected
Don't let him have this as a campaign issue against you
You can commute @RealRossU today and make a fool of Trump
When I hear "we are using a new tool for project management", my brain translates that into "we have a new project to manage a tool".
I wonder, why is that? Hmmm.
"Superstition-Based Development" or SBD is the most prevalent approach to managing software development projects today.
This is the belief that: Agile is a process, DevOps is a person/team, SAFe is not waterfall, and/or JIRA adds value.

When I talk about releasing on Friday, many ppl respond with "why not wait 'till Monday." That's missing the point, which is that your code should be high enough quality that you feel confident releasing whenever it's convenient, even on Friday (and no, that's not a "fantasy").
On this Holocaust Remembrance Day, let's remember that 11 million people were robbed of their right to speak and associate freely, disarmed of their weapons, rounded up and massacred by government employees who were "just doing their jobs".
And let's not let that happen again.
