One thing that I admire about people that have been in crypto earlier is not the price that they got in at, but it's more the knowledge that they have about the respective chains they're interested in.
For example, Bitcoin Litecoin and Decred are all UTXO based.
Whereas Ethereum is account-based and there are really no UTXOs involved.
Or why Monero requires six block delay prior to re-spending those outputs to preserve privacy.
Doing thorough research on your investments is one of the fun things about crypto because you earn something new. For example whenever I first learned about THORChain, I spent literally a week wrapping my head around it.
I think the newer generation of crypto investors don't really do such deep research rather they just buy coins on custodial platforms without knowing the architecture of their investments.
@elonmusk In Excession, Banks speaks of a decentralized civilization, anarchist, utopian, the Culture, which uses (for the purchase of spaceships in particular) a non-fiat currency called Credit = DECRED (DCR) ? Contraction of “Decentralized Credits”, originally called "Bitcoin Suite".
Over the past year, I try to stay away from price related tweets, but it’s hard because price is such an important aspect of Decred growth. And whenever I tweet about Decred price or even just good or bad news, I get accused of doing it for personal benefit.
Please don’t ask me how many coins I staked or at what price. I can tell you that the amount of coins was a small percentage of daily volume and it did not significantly increase ticket price.
@Trezor @decentralizedbt @MadScrilla1 Hi @Trezor
Real confusing tweet. I see Cardano pr's come and go while decred can barely get the time of day. One begins to think you have an agenda other than making hardware wallets. Please get on with merging our pr.

@RaoulGMI#Decred.
It is the perfect contrarian bet to accompany Bitcoin. It took everything Bitcoiners believe and bet against it.
Formal onchain governance enables
- evolution of codebase
- self-funded treasury
- checks and balance on miners
- exponential security vs pure PoW
- privacy
@Bitcoin Look at the plotted against supply % issued mate, same value at 50% mined.
Bitcoin also had a bear market in 2012, 2014 and 2018 if you recall.
I'm glad you read the paper @Bitcoin! You learned something today 🚀
There’s a bit of superficial discussion happening (mostly dismissal) of CZ of binance’s exploration of reorganizing the blockchain to reverse binance’s recent hack. Here’s why such a rollback is plausible in a future case (whether we want it to be plausible or not.)
