@stevecusswords We gave up on it. It seems like too many writers are taking on the challenge of trying to make a evil character likable. Doesn’t often work. Doesn’t say many good things about us as the audience either.
@steveryancarter@aaronieq It seems like the generational/reactionary response is a newer, more modern approach. We don’t see that as much historically, do we? Why do you think that is? More power/influence to lose?

@PrestonSprinkle So good. When he’s telling the boy that he has to know how to survive because he won’t be around... And I think the movie held up too - but you can’t find it anymore.
