Ontario has a responsibility to keep these workers safe. @DavidPiccini, please ensure this assaulted worker finds justice and the hazards at Central North & other provincial Correctional Centres are addressed. The workers can identify the dangers and offer constructive remedies.

While many were out enjoying the long weekend, one of our officers was violently assaulted by an inmate struggling with mental health issues.

This "justice" system continues to criminalize mental illness instead of treating it.
